We are currently inviting applications for a dynamic Paramedic to join our Emergency Department team. As a valuable member of our staff, the Paramedic will play a crucial role in patient care and will be integral in bridging communication between patients, their families, and various hospital departments. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and training needed to not only provide immediate medical assistance but also to identify and resolve concerns expressed by patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care and support to patients within the Emergency Department.
- Serve as a liaison for patients and their families, ensuring clear communication and understanding of treatment plans and any concerns.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and resolve issues effectively.
- Assist in the assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions.
- Maintain a compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
- Valid Paramedic certification and state licensure.
- 2 years of previous experience in a hospital or emergency department setting.
- High School or GED equivalent
- Required Certifications: CPR & BLS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
